Steel structure CARport construction process mainly includes foundation construction, steel structure fabrication and installation, roof system construction, anti-corrosion coating and completion acceptance five core links must be strictly implemented in accordance with construction specifications and process flow to ensure structural safety and durability.
Foundation construction
Site preparation and measurement positioning
Clear the site to ensure the ground is level, carry out foundation positioning and layout according to the drawings, and measure the axis lines of the columns and the elevation control lines.
Foundation treatment and embedded parts installation
Excavate the foundation and carry out backfilling and compaction. When pouring the concrete foundation, simultaneously embed the anchor bolts or embedded steel plates. Check that the positional deviation of the embedded parts should be controlled within ±3mm.
Fabrication and installation of steel structures
Component processing and pretreatment
After cutting the steel, the bevel needs to be ground until the metallic luster is exposed. Before welding, check the Angle and flatness of the weld seam bevel. Before using the welding rods, they should be dried at 350 to 400℃ for 1 to 2 hours and stored at a warm temperature.
Hoisting and welding of steel structures
Symmetrical welding sequence should be adopted to prevent deformation. After welding, visual inspection and ultrasonic flaw detection should be carried out. Any defects found should be removed with an Angle grinder and then repaired by welding. The number of rework should not exceed two times.
Roof system construction
Structural installation and leveling
When installing secondary components such as purlins and tie rods, a level should be used to level them, with the spacing deviation not exceeding ±5mm.
Roofing material laying
The laying of color steel plates or polycarbonate sheets should be carried out symmetrically from the middle to both ends. The seams of the sheets should be filled with sealant, and rainwater troughs should be installed at the eaves to ensure smooth drainage.
