On November 1, 2025, Liweiyuan Steel Structure successfully completed the commissioning of a batch of newly introduced advanced robotic welding equipment in its production workshop, and these devices officially entered the trial operation phase. This equipment upgrade is an important move for the company to follow the development trend of intelligent manufacturing and improve production efficiency and product quality. To ensure efficient equipment commissioning, Liweiyuan Steel Structure assembled a dedicated commissioning team comprised of personnel from the company's technical and production departments, as well as engineers from the equipment supplier. A detailed commissioning plan was also developed. During commissioning, the team focused on core aspects such as equipment parameter calibration, welding path planning, weld quality inspection, and human-machine collaboration safety. After repeated testing and optimization, the equipment finally achieved technical specifications of welding trajectory accuracy error ≤0.1mm and repeatability ≤±0.05mm. Compared to traditional manual welding, welding efficiency increased by approximately 300%, weld formation was more uniform, and the defect rate was significantly reduced, reaching industry-leading levels.
The head of the technical department stated that the newly introduced robotic welding equipment can adapt to welding different types of workpieces. Once programmed, it can quickly switch between welding processes for different products, significantly shortening production changeover time. Furthermore, the equipment's intelligent visual recognition system monitors the welding process in real time, automatically adjusting parameters such as welding current and voltage to ensure stable welding quality for complex workpieces. In addition, the equipment adopts a fully enclosed welding chamber design and is equipped with a highly efficient fume purification system, effectively improving the workshop working environment and reducing occupational health risks for operators.
