On August 20, 2025, Liweiyuan Steel Structure Company successfully delivered a custom-built steel structure galvanized factory for the Falkland Islands.
The project was independently designed and manufactured by Liweiyuan Steel Structure Manufacturing, utilizing high-strength G355B steel. The steel structure underwent an integrated galvanizing process after fabrication, specifically designed for the harsh climatic conditions of the Falkland Islands, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
The shipment, comprising the main frame of the factory and supporting components, totaling over 50 tons, has arrived at a designated port in the Falkland Islands, enhancing local industrial infrastructure. The Liweiyuan Steel Structure project design team stated that subsequent batches will be shipped as planned to ensure the project's overall completion on schedule, injecting new impetus into the Falkland Islands' economic development.
