On April 2, 2026, a 5-member delegation from a Mongolian infrastructure construction group conducted a two-day on-site inspection of the bridge pre-assembly process at Qingdao Liweiyuan Steel Structure Production Base. The delegation, including technical directors and quality control experts, focused on pre-assembly precision, technical standards and low-temperature adaptation technologies.
Accompanied by Liweiyuan’s person in charge, the delegation visited the digital pre-assembly workshop and quality inspection center. The technical team demonstrated BIM technology application in pre-assembly and elaborated on low-temperature-resistant steel and anti-corrosion technologies, presenting relevant inspection reports and cases to address Mongolia’s harsh winter conditions.
During the discussion, the Mongolian customers raised questions about pre-assembly cycle, transportation and maintenance, which were fully answered by Liweiyuan’s team. The customer representative expressed full confidence in future cooperation, and both sides reached preliminary consensus on technical coordination and project implementation to promote Mongolia’s cross-border transportation hub construction.
